Open position at DNA Script
  • Manufacture of QC Reagents and Supplies needed for daily operations
  • Inspecting and testing the day-to-day quality raw materials and products to make sure they meet required levels of quality
  • Evaluate lab results for repeat and/or reflex testing.
  • Maintenance of QC laboratory equipment and facilities to ensure readiness for use, cleanliness and calibration
  • Assist with establishing & maintaining safe work standards in the lab
  • Assist in the development of procedural protocols and records
  • Keep excellent records, data management on LIMS, maintain reagent inventory
  • Occasional assistance with other projects as needed
  • Effectively communicate quality control information to production personnel;
  • Issue discrepancy reports to the lab for corrective action, Develop reports for analysis results

Experience / skills
The successful candidate will have:
  • Minimum Associate's Degree in biology/biochemistry/biotechnology or related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Strong experience in quality control in an industrial environment is required,
  • Knowledge in cellular biology, molecular biology or biochemistry is a plus,
  • Very comfortable/happy at the bench;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office/LIMS required
  • Experience with pharmaceutical regulations and GHS implementation is a plus.
